What better way to avoid the cold winters? But many of our off-season visitors have dogs or cats. So where do you find a pet friendly hotel in Myrtle Beach or condo in North Myrtle Beach that will allow your dog?
We'll be honest - there aren't that many. Most resorts that do allow pets reserve it for owners only. If you're wanting to come during prime time when the hotels are nearly full, You may need to talk directly to someone who has a condo rental and work it out with them instead of one of the rental management companies. It's much easier in the fall and winter when rentals are lean and the places are looking harder to fill vacancies. This is one of the few pet friendly hotels or (motels) that didn't get converted to condos back in the day. I've known several people who stayed here all through the years and loved it. As of November 2009, they have a big sign up that says they allow pets.
